While driving through Mineral Wells, Tx, you can’t help but notice the fourteen story building lurking over the city! A masterpiece in architecture. It was designed by Wyatt C Hendricks, built in 1929. It houses 450 guests, two ballrooms, a bowling alley, outdoor pool, and a gymnasium! Pretty impressive! Many famous people went there like Judy Garland, Glen Miller Band, even Bonnie and Clyde came for drinks. They claim the water in Mineral wells heals and is very therapeutic. It closed in 1972 , it has been abandoned since.
