The first time I ever set eyes on Madera Canyon was that of amazement. The beautiful Santa Rita mountains towered high into the blue sky in the background is so prestine and majestic. The short trail at Madera Canyon is only about a mile and is very easy, so anyone can do it! And if you are a birdwatcher, there is plenty of brightly colored birds to watch!
It also lists all the bats in the area!
The trail gives you continuous information on what grows and a lot of interesting points. You will also come across cotton-tailed deer, who are used to people it seems. Here are photos I took.
