The Mogollan ghost town in New Mexico

Mogollan historic district is really worth visiting! In the Catron county lies a very isolated ghost town that was found by a man named James C Cooney. He found gold there and decided it would make a great mining town. He started to build a cabin, jail and a post office in 1890.By 1909, it was a booming town! Unfortunately, due to fires and a lot of flooding, it started to decline. There was a movie with Henry Fonda filmed there called “My name is Nobody.”
