The artist is in everyone

WhenI was a kid, in 6th grade, my teacher gave us an assignment to draw a rose. I love and continue to love roses to this day! So anyways, after school I did the unthinkable! I was a flower thief! Yes, I cut the roses from my neighbor and gave them to my mom! She was not mad even though she knew I was stealing my neighbors roses, lol.

Well, I drew the rose for school and my teacher was obsessed with my drawing, I didn’t think much of it but Now I think back and realized I am an artist!!! But I never used my talents because of fear of what others would think! I supported myself and my kids by being an assistant to a nurse, a nursing assistant. Yes, that was my trade and it was great as I love helping people and loved the nursing field! But, I am getting old and my kids are grown and beautiful. People say, I wish I could paint, well my question is why not?

Everyone has a special gift inside them and should be used, not swept under the rug, you see God made us in his image and loves us unconditionally. Even in storms, we can stand tall knowing this! Time is speeding by, so remember you have a talent, don’t let it slip away, Just find what you love to do and do it!!! Because tomorrow is not promised and everyone has the artist in them!!!

Go find your dream and be happy in your own world!

Hav a great day and check out my art in Rossi Coasters & Candles Facebook page, I am also on Instagram, Pinterest and twitter under Vanessa Sondgeroth
